Internet Marketing: Helping you earn more money

Over Half of Internet Users Are Now on Broadband

If you have high-speed access, you don’t want to go back to dial-up. You’ll do everything not to go back. Your life is changed and changed for good.

According to Yahoo April report “It’s a Broadband Life“:

Over half of US Web users have broadband access… Broadband consumers spend 56% more time online.

Broadband users are much more active. Dial-up users prefer to communicate by e-mail. Broadband users publish their own pages and blogs, use photo sharing sites, try to meet people (post personal ads and respond to them), play online games, send photos by e-mail and messengers, use voice telephony, web cameras and web-based e-mail.

Dial-up users scan headlines. Broadband users are more likely to read the whole piece. Moreover, they like to get the full story from several sources. They regularly seek product reviews. They like to share their points on view and provide feedback.

Broadband users are more likely to make purchases over the Internet. 68% of broadband users regularly purchase online.

Broadband users do several tasks at the same time. For example, they hear news on the radio and go online for detail. Message consistency across all the media is important. Cross media marketing is worth considering. 34% of broadband users look up web sites mentioned on TV advertisements.
