Internet Marketing: Helping you earn more money

Attention software authors: your sites may be at risk

If your site was dropped from Google, submit a reinclusion request.

It has always been a bad practice to copy content from other sites. Google is not happy with duplicated content. Here’s a confirmation from GoogleGuy:

… I have a strong hunch that we’re going to be taking a closer look at sites that are just scraper sites, or throwing up a copy of the ODP with no value added.

What does it mean to software authors? All program descriptions in your pad file must be original (not a copy from the homepage of your site or your press release). This is of great importance!

By the way, if your site was dropped from Google, you can submit a reinclusion request at http://www.google.com/support/ (click the Contact us link at the bottom of the page).
